NOTHING LIKE A 5000 MILE TEST DRIVE!

Proving reliability and quenching the thirst for adventure, Florida resident Ed Hunziker, a Renegade Hybrids 914 Subie customer, decided to take a test drive in his new ride and ended up in Las Vegas!

A few months back, Ed purchased a Subaru 914 conversion kit from the automobile architects at Renegade Hybrids, and started a quest for more horsepower and greater reliability. Just over three weeks ago, Ed's 300HP WRX motor fired to life with ease. After roughly 700 miles of local driving, Ed packed his bags and made the long journey out to Vegas to catch the automotive super show, SEMA, and to show off his talents to the gang at Renegade! With average cruising speeds hovering on both sides of the century mark, exceptional reliability/driveability, and even great gas mileage, Ed was all smiles when he shook hand with the engineers at Renegade.

As a testament to Ed's craftsmanship, Subaru's engineering, Renegade's conversion, and even the 914's unique fortitude, this "kit car" may be the most well rounded of them all! ( pictures )
