Renegade has been building adapter kits and transaxles for the race, street, and kit car industry for over 25 years now. There are several Porsche trained transmission specialists working successfully throughout the world, but very few are aware of exactly how to build a Porsche gear box to handle more than twice, three times, and even five times the amount of horse power. Furthermore, few understand and are able to develop adapter kits and custom parts specifically designed for the kit car industry without our intimate association with the builders that make this industry quite successful. Our crew is among the elite when it comes to quality, precision, knowledge, and a particular touch that can only be possessed by a true craftsman. Many important parts, which are deliberately "overlooked" by other shops to increase profit, may cause premature failure. We can't pass up any parts that are questionable because they can lead to a catastrophic failure when bolted to 'BIG' HP!

Renegade offers a full line of components, which enable the mating of virtually all Porsche transaxles to Chevy V-8 engines (and some other popular motors), for installation in many varieties of kit cars. Additional components, such as pressure plates, clutch discs, starters, shifters, coolers, pumps, and everything in between, are also available to complete your transaxle package.
