Thanks for asking! In short, we are the company that puts a worry free, affordable, and exciting driving experience back into your Porsche. In addition, we are one of the largest suppliers of Porsche transaxles, adapter kits, clutch components, and custom shifters and accessories to the kit car industry!

Since 1983, Renegade Hybrids has sold thousands of custom parts that have allowed Porsche owners to install stronger, faster, cheaper, and more reliable motors in their cars. A favorite choice for many years was the Small Block Chevy V-8 due to accessibility, affordability, and a diverse selection of aftermarket parts. This is still our best selling do-it-yourself conversion kits.

More recently, two more motor choices have made a mark in our product line with the addition of the EJ series Subaru Boxter style motors for the 914's, and the GM LS series, all aluminum, fuel injected V-8's in the 944s and 911s.

Furthermore, we have developed a program for many of the mid-engine kit car builders who require a strong, yet compact, transaxle, high performance clutch components, and custom adapter plates & shifter kits.

In other words, we take the all the good things from Porsche including the handling, braking and styling characteristics, and we couple that with big reliable horsepower.
